Beat The End New Direction
To all my readers I apologize for my extended hiatus from writing and updating Beat The End. I am now getting back on track with updating and bringing back useful information to all those interested in prepping and survival. I hope that some of the new things I plan to implement will help you and teach you why I and others have started preparing.
One of the things I am going to do is bring on my wife to help give a different perspective of prepping. She was a person who when we met had never touched a gun, was not real outdoorsy and really didn’t know much about self sufficiency and prepping. Now that we are married with a home and are on a tighter budget we understand even more how important self sufficiency and frugality is. Many of her articles will focus specifically on self sufficiency and DIY type projects, and she will be discussing things like couponing, cooking, canning, and how to make different types of household products (deodorant, laundry detergent, dish detergent, etc) on the cheap.
While having some more how to’s and basics of prepping, I am also going to be getting into why prepping and self sufficiency is so important. One of the other things I plan to discuss is how freedom should be an important concept to preppers, why losing freedom can be detrimental to how we live, and some different current events regarding our freedom and how it has and is being dismantled. With the new house and an acre (with no HOA) came a lot more freedom and space to be able to do some important projects and DIY prepper home upgrades. We will be able to have a full garden this year, already have chickens and see the benefits of the more self sufficient frugal lifestyle.
So I hope you will forgive me for being inactive for over six months and hope you enjoy the direction I will be taking the site.
