Welcome to Beat the End! Be Ready For Any Situation!

survival phrases

If you have just started prepping or are a fully fledged prepper survivalist there are always things to learn. Beat The End survival blog strives to give you the most up to date and relevant information on survival, camping, the outdoors, prepping and everything that goes along with it.  If you feel preparing is too expensive there are many ways to start without spending money.  The free knowledge you attain is just as important as the materials and prepping gear you need to buy.

When disaster strikes will you have the abilities and knowledge to survive and thrive?  We plan for so many things from vacations, to retirement, and even what we are going to do for fun.  Why don’t we plan for times of disaster, economic hardships and social unrest?  At the moment there are many circumstances in the world that could lead to major changes in our lives.  Everywhere you turn there are signs of this.  You can’t turn on the television without finding a story about the economic crisis in the United States and most of the world.  We have seen 911 and the damage and social unrest that went with it.  There are many examples of natural disasters from the tsunamis in Japan to the massive hurricanes like Hurricane Katrina which devastated many parts of Louisiana.  We also here of people who believe that a major apocalypse is right around the next bend.

Can anyone really tell if one of these scenarios will actually happen?  No, but why not be prepared in the chance that it does happen?  We don’t know if we will live to retirement age, but we still prepare by saving.  The prepper (or whatever is the name of the day) community is doing just this.  Not only can preparing for these situations put your nerves at ease, but the knowledge you gain can save you money and even help you become self sufficient.  When we are reliant on others, may it be the government or another person we will never have full control of our own lives.    If everybody was prepared everybodies lives would be much easier in a disaster situation.  At times of civil unrest people lose their heads and do things they normally wouldn’t.  When prepared, people will not have to resort to violence or theft to get their next meal.  Having a background in survival may someday save your life.

Doctor PrepperI have been prepping torguhh most of my life. My grandmother did it, my mother did it and now I do it and my grown children are doing it. There have been a few times torguhh out my adult life that I did have to rely on my stores. The last of which is right now! I suddenly became disabled after being a nurse for 42 years. I did not plan on retiring, but here I am. My income is about 25% of what it was while I was working. Thank the Lord that I have prepared! My life style has not changed and I have plenty to eat. I will be moving into a smaller dwelling in the near future, but that will be the only change. My vehicle is paid for; I have no debt; I have more than a lot of people do today. I will continue to prep no matter what. Now that I am no longer working outside of my home I have found that I remain quite busy with my large garden, canning, quilting, needle work and sewing. I have more time to make most things from scrtach and in turn save more that way. I cannot imagine why anyone would choose not to be prepared.Thank you Mr. Stevens. I personally appreciate all of your efforts.Sandy F
